In the interest of a sharing environment, students can check out five books with a three-week check-out time period.   Prompt return of books allows other students to enjoy these resources as well.  If you need additional books, please contact Ms. Kessler.

In a middle school environment, there is a wide range of maturity levels.  Within the Journey library, there are a variety of books, including more mature books for older students. Those books are labeled young adult (YA).  Before sixth and seventh grade students check out these books, Ms. Kessler has  a conversation with students reminding them that the young adult books are more mature.  If you are not comfortable with a book, you should return the book.  Allowing for these differing resources brings a depth to the library and allows readers to find a book that fits their interests.

This year, there are no COVID protocols in place for book check-out.  If you wish to utilize our ebooks and audiobooks, please use Overdrive.
