In the interest of a sharing environment, students can check out five books with a three-week check-out time period.   Prompt return of books allows other students to enjoy these resources as well.  If you need additional books, please contact Mrs. Goodson.

In a middle school environment, there is a wide range of maturity levels.  Within the Journey library, there are a variety of books, including more mature books for older students. Those books are labeled young adult (YA).  Before sixth and seventh grade students check out these books, Mrs. Goodson or Ms. Nelson have conversations with students reminding them that the young adult books are more mature.  If you are not comfortable with a book, you should return the book.  Allowing for these differing resources brings a depth to the library and allows readers to find a book that fits their interests.

This year, there are no COVID protocols in place for book check-out.  If you wish to utilize our ebooks and audiobooks, please use Overdrive.
